Workshops
A series of workshops are offered each term to prepare undergraduate students in the LeBow College of Business for the varying aspects of their job search. Each term workshops on subjects such as resume development, job searching, interviewing, and salary negotiation are offered to students. Employers are also invited to campus to present workshops from an insider's point of view. Students can sign up to attend workshops via the LeBow Event Calendar.
EmployOn
The LeBow College of Business provides students with the ability to use EmployOn. EmployOn is an online web portal that acts as a "spider" that pulls in over 7 million job listings from thousands of websites, making it the largest jobs database in the industry. This allows students to do real-time searches using their uploaded resumes for both full-time jobs and for internships. Searching is focused on student skills and talents and students are able to utilize the skills-based search function to find more job listings than by searching for job titles alone. Students can create/manage their own user accounts and run searches independently. Students can also save searches and have them run automatically on a regular basis, sending new job postings to their email accounts.
