New Ventures Projects

Project Proposal Criteria:
All types of new and growing ventures are encouraged to apply.  This would include non-profit, venture backed start-ups, individual entrepreneurs and established companies engaged in entrepreneurial activity.  Project Proposals may include a range of issues including business and commercialization plans, feasibility analysis, industry and market research, etc. We seek projects that will provide a learning experience for our students and discourage proposals for such activities as telemarketing.  All Project Proposals are expected to last between ten weeks and three months and must include approximate number of hours per week as well as primary contact information. Ten weeks is equivalent to a term at Drexel University.  If more time is anticipated, this should be negotiated directly with the student.  

Project Proposal Process:
Companies must submit their Project Proposals on-line. If accepted by the New Ventures Projects Coordinator, the Project Proposal will be made available to students on the New Ventures Projects website.  Interested students will contact the company directly using the primary contact information.  The student and the company will need a formal approval from the program coordinator before commencing the project.
