Drexel University's LeBow College of Business Center for Corporate Governance (CCG) is recognized as a premier research center of effective and responsible management. CCG is at the forefront in the thorough examination of governance issues facing the business community.
Center for Corporate Governance Fellows research topics that advance knowledge in the fields of finance, marketing, accounting, organizational behavior and other areas related to business. The Fellows work to understand the practitioners' needs and to assist them in developing and incorporating best practices.
CCG programs address the critical issues facing boards today. The programs feature top researchers, practitioners, directors and leaders in government, and regulatory agencies. CCG interacts with the business community, acting as a forum for the open exchange of ideas supported by research. The Center's Advisory Council is comprised of many of the region's top business leaders.
Thanks to the generosity and foresight of alumnus Christopher '51 and his wife Mary Stratakis, The Christopher '51 and Mary Stratakis Chair in Corporate Governance and Accountability was established in 2002 to recognize the importance of corporate governance and accountability and to promote LeBow College's inclusion in this area of study as one of the pillars of a comprehensive business curriculum.
