Learning Assessment Program
The LeBow College of Business is committed to assessing student learning across all our academic programs. The assessment process began during 2005-2006 academic year with two faculty committees comprised of members of the Center for Teaching Excellence. These committees identified learning goals consistent with the mission of LeBow and began the development of the broader assessment plans, insuring these plans would comply with the AACSB standards for learning assessment.
Two larger faculty assessment committees were formed in 2006-2007. Membership included faculty representatives from each academic department, the department heads, the Vice Dean and the Associate Deans for Graduate and Undergraduate programs. These committees were charged with finalizing the assessment plans, insuring data are collected and analyzed annually, disseminating results to the faculty and administration of LeBow and to develop and implement plans for improvement annually.
The Academic Program Committee of the college, in consultation with the Ph.D program Director and the Associate Deans for Graduate and Undergraduate programs will also periodically review the assessment process and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
