Undergraduate Advising
The Undergraduate Advising Center at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business provides a staff of full-time developmental advisors who serve as an important resource to our students as they choose and attain their educational, career, and life goals. Our advisors form on-going relationships with our students as they progress through their college years to assist them with goal-formation, selecting a degree program, and making choices from the wide array of options offered by Drexel University.
The goal of our developmental advisors is to foster the empowerment of our students to become skillful problem solvers and experienced decision makers who are well-positioned to emerge as the business leaders of the future following graduation from LeBow College of Business.

A Philadelphia native, Brian has been providing academic services to the Drexel community since 2002. Having completed his graduate work at Drexel University, Brian relates well to the demands and complexity of today's student. His extensive advising experiences at Rutgers and Drexel University have allowed for unique interaction with a diverse student population. A native of Philadelphia, Peggy has served the students of Drexel since 1980. She is a member of several university and college committees, including the Academic Standing Committee, working to help students with special needs to achieve success. Sherriann Steadman |

An alumnus and former student athlete of Drexel University, Sherriann joined the LeBow College of Business as an Academic Advisor in late 2009. Having earned her M.Ed. from the University of Oklahoma, she is well aware of the demands and pressures faced by students. Sherriann is excited to rejoin the Drexel community and hopes to give business students the tools they need to achieve their goals and succeed at LeBow. Being a recent graduate, Sherriann is excited about applying a student-centered approach to advising and developing relationships among students, faculty and other college professionals. Tony joined the LeBow College Undergraduate Advising staff in 2001. His experience has made him a specialist in advising students who major in Business & Engineering, a degree unique to LeBow College, and in Economics, a degree offering a wide array of options for LeBow students. Tony devotes his efforts to guiding Business & Engineering and Economics majors as they progress through their diverse and challenging curriculums. His work with LeBow College has included coordinating New Student Orientations, developing plans of study for all business degrees, serving on academic committees, and representing LeBow College at regional conferences of academic professionals. Tony is greatly honored to have advised many students towards accomplishing their goal of earning their bachelors degree. Tony graduated from Villanova University with his bachelors degree and masters degree in political science, and he earned his certification to teach secondary social studies from Penn State University. Prior to becoming a college administrator, Tony taught social studies for several years with middle schools and high schools. Caitlin joined Drexel University in 2006 as the Assistant Director of Recruitment for the Drexel at BCC initiative. She specialized in enrollment, recruitment, and retention for Drexel's South Jersey program. In 2009, Caitlin decided to pursue her passion for academics and joined the LeBow College of Business as an academic advisor. She is excited to assist LeBow students in reaching their ultimate goals in the business world. Caitlin graduated from Iona College in 2004 with a dual major in Education and Literature. Evan became a member of Drexel University in 2001 serving as Program Coordinator for the Office of Service Learning (later renamed the Center for Civic Engagement). In 2004 he became an Academic Advisor for the Pennoni Honors College and joined the staff of the LeBow College of Business, Undergraduate Advising Center in December of 2006. Prior to coming to Drexel, Evan had many years of experience in higher education working for the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia as well as various community colleges throughout New Jersey. He graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelors Degree in Communication '93 and a Masters Degree in Education '96. A Philadelphia native, Barbara has been advising students at Drexel University since 1979. She is a graduate of Upper Darby High School and Susquehanna University, where she majored in English literature. Her graduate work was done at the University of the Arts in the Opera Department as a voice major. Barbara is one of four undergraduate academic advisors who talk with students about scheduling courses, transferring coursework, degree tracking toward graduation and what's "hot" in business careers. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Linda joined Drexel University in January 2006 as the Graduate Advisor in the School of Information Science and Technology. She joined the LeBow College of Business in May 2007. For almost 25 years, she has devoted her career to advising students in majors such as Education and Business at La Salle and now Drexel University. A Philadelphia native, Lisa joined Drexel University in 2004 as the Employer Specialist in the Steinbright Career Development Center, where she did job development for both co-op and graduating students. In August 2005, Lisa joined the LeBow College of Business to improve services to students to include working with the undergraduate business students in areas of career development. Her background includes over seven years as an Executive Recruiter, placing accounting and financial professionals in Philadelphia area businesses. An alumnus of the LeBow College of Business, Rita Crane rejoined Drexel University in 2003 as a Co-operative Education Coordinator in the Steinbright Career Development Center. In this capacity she prepared students in the LeBow College of Business for their Co-op experiences. In October 2006, Rita joined the LeBow College of Business to provide students with various services to enhance their career development. Rita has a unique perspective as a former student within LeBow and is looking forward to utilizing her knowledge of job searching, resume writing, interviewing, and employer relations to provide excellent service to students. In May 2010, Sarafina joined the LeBow College of Business, as the newest member of the Undergraduate Career Services team.
Working as a Career Advisor, Sarafina will partner with fellow members of UGCS to educate students regarding the different
aspects of the recruitment and employment process. Prior to joining LeBow, Sarafina worked in Human Resources were she
launched and managed the University Relations program at Independent Blue Cross and led recruitment initiatives at numerous
progressive institutions throughout the tri-state area. Sarafina is looking forward to leveraging her past employment
experiences to service the needs of students during the recruitment lifecycle: job search, resume writing, interviewing
techniques, and salary negotiation.

Ryan Ciolli |

A Philadelphia native and LeBow alumnus, Ryan joined the LeBow College of Business staff in 2006 in the role of program coordinator of the Undergraduate Advising Center. In his current role as IT support specialist, Ryan is responsible for the development, maintenance, and implementation of information technology initiatives for the Undergraduate Advising Center. He is also the primary administrative contact person for the colleges My LIFEfolio initiative, which includes template development and training for students, faculty and staff.
