| Description: | Theodore D. Goldman, Ph.D. President, Goldman Development Group, Inc. Innovation is creating and implementing something that is beneficial. While much is said about innovation, the key to success is thinking and working in an innovative way. It means doing the right things right and avoiding barriers. This workshop will present an innovation model based on the experiences of successful innovators. To help build your innovation skills, we will address the model with three questions: Is it right? What's missing? What gets in the way? Please join us for this interactive and fun session. Dr. Ted Goldman's background includes 34 years of industrial experience. He worked for Rohm and Haas Company for 26 years where he held many positions including research chemist, product development manager and director of Rohm and Haas University. He is President of Goldman Development Group, Inc. which focuses on work process improvement with a specialty in innovation. He is also a Senior Consultant at The Martec Group, a global market research and business consulting firm. He is President of the Chemical Development and Marketing Association, a Special Interest Group of PDMA. Dr. Goldman earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from New York University, was an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Wisconsin, and earned a Certificate in Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
