Career unrest abounds. This is a period of unprecedented economic distress and organizational instabilities add to this unsettling context for career management. As positions are eliminated or redesigned, the definition of job security changes.

Job security, employability and career development is not determined by credential, title and experience but by individual human-capital that contributes to an organization's priorities.

By understanding our personal bank of human-capital, an individual career strategy can be created to counter the premise that job security comes from dependence on an organization. This energy required to cope with employment uncertainty can be released energies for “employability security”

Food and drink will be served.
