| Description: | Strategic leadership has reached a tipping point. In the midst of the recent corporate scandals, dishonorable management behaviors have resulting in widespread disastrous consequences. Today's leaders are asked to address the tension between business conduct and business performance while paying attention to the bottom line results and company value. Senior executives are aware of the need for increased vigilance on ethical issues. Participants will discuss reasons for failures in leadership efforts and identify the critical issues that cause tension between ethical leadership and business performance. Panelists Alvin A. Clay, III, CEO, Davidson Trust Company Clay is a regular contributor to the Philadelphia Inquirer with a column on Business Ethics. He holds the professional designations of CPA and CFP. He is a frequent speaker on business ethics. Davidson Trust Company oversees approximately $1 billion of assets for private clients and institutions. Christian Resick, Ph.D., Assistant Professor Drexel University LeBow College of Business Resick's areas of expertise include: behavioral science/organizational behavior, groups and teams, leadership, and personality. Patrick L. Meehan, Former United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania One of the most respected U.S. Attorneys in the country, Meehan's work as U.S. Attorney on corporate, health care and pharmaceutical fraud has earned him national prominence. Early in his tenure, he was appointed by the president as one of seven U.S. Attorneys to serve on the President's Corporate Fraud Task Force. Meehan joined Conrad O'Brien Gellman & Rohn as a shareholder in 2008. Moderator Steven E. Glauser, Ph.D., Vice-President of Organizational Consulting, Right Management Glauser has over 30 years of experience in the field of human behavior.
