The BPTS is a business school faculty conference dedicated to sharing innovative and effective strategies to enhance student learning across all business disciplines.

Todd Zakrajsek, Executive Director of the Center for Faculty Excellence at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Todd Zakrajsek, Ph.D., is the executive director of the Center for Faculty Excellence at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was previously the inaugural Director of the Faculty Center for Innovative Teaching at Central Michigan University and the founding Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Southern Oregon University. Zakrajsek also directs the Lilly Conference on Teaching and Learning in Traverse City, Michigan, and the International Conference on Improving University Teaching.

Garrett Melby, Co-Founder and CEO of GoodCompany Ventures

Garrett Melby is a co‐founder and the CEO of GoodCompany Ventures, an incubator for social entrepreneurs seeking market‐based solutions to compelling unmet social needs. To date, GCV has helped launch over 30 social enterprises that have raised over $30mm to support their social innovations. He is also the managing director of Iolite Social Capital, a developer of innovative approaches to financing social innovation.
