Drexel University's LeBow College of Business Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) and Center for Research Excellence (CRE) are a central part of the College's vision of becoming one of the premier institutions in educating management professionals.
"The Center for Teaching Excellence supports the College's mission and the goals of its new strategic plan by emphasizing teaching excellence throughout all of LeBow's programs through workshops and resources," says Thomas J. Hindelang, Ph.D., Francis Professor of Finance and Vice Dean, who heads up the Center. "CTE helps our faculty and staff to demonstrate that we are fulfilling the AACSB standards for accreditation."
"The Center for Research Excellence has the primary responsibility of establishing the actionable research element of the College's strategic plan," says V.K. Narayanan, Ph.D., Stubbs Professor of Management and Associate Dean for Research. CRE helps connect researchers across different departments at LeBow College as well as across different colleges within Drexel University.
"The Center for Experiential Learning supports co-curricular activities, and innovative curricula and pedagogy that engages students and helps them to better understand the connections between theory and practice," says Associate Dean for Experiential Learning Paul E. Jensen, Ph.D. The Center seeks to enhance the quality of LeBow's academic programs through experience-based learning initiatives.
