Academic Centers of Excellence
Drexel University's LeBow College of Business Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) and Center for Research Excellence (CRE) are a central part of the College's vision of becoming one of the premier institutions in educating management professionals.
"The Center for Teaching Excellence helps LeBow College achieve its mission and the goals of its new strategic plan because of its emphasis on improving teaching excellence throughout all of LeBow's programs through workshops and support," says Thomas J. Hindelang, Ph.D., Francis Professor of Finance and Vice Dean, who heads up the Center. "CTE helps our faculty and staff to demonstrate that we are fulfilling the AACSB standards for accreditation."
"The Center for Research Excellence has the primary responsibility of establishing the actionable research element of the College's strategic plan," says V.K. Narayanan, Ph.D., Stubbs Professor of Management and Associate Dean for Research. CRE helps connect researchers across different departments at LeBow College as well as across different colleges within Drexel University.
