| Description: | Association for Corporate Growth Philadelphia is pleased to present the 4th annual ACG Philadelphia Cup. Launched in 2007, the Philadelphia Cup is a highly realistic private equity/investment banking case study contest that will present a total of $25,000 in awards to MBA students representing some of the top MBA programs in the greater Philadelphia area. The contest, which is open exclusively to MBA and MS Finance students attending the universities, will start with first-round competitions to be held on-campus at each school. Each team will analyze and present their solutions and recommendations to a complex business case that requires a combination of corporate strategy, finance and valuation skills. This year the case will be a classic buy side investment banking scenario. The top team from each school's first-round contest will then move into the "ACG Philadelphia Cup" finals to be held in April 2010. Teams must be comprised of at least two MBA or MS Finance students, currently enrolled at the participating schools. Based upon experience, however, we recommend a team consist of 3 - 4 students. The competition is open to all graduate school business students at participating universities, whether they are full-time, part-time or executive MBAs. All teams should assign a Team Leader. The Team Leader will be the primary point of contact as the competition ensues. All team members will receive log in and password information to access the case via a virtual data room. Submit your registration to jsimons@acg.org. Include each team member's name, email and phone number. Specify who wil serve as the Team Leader. Questions related to team sign-up and the "on campus round" should be directed to your school contacts.
