Oct 26, 2009 - Dr. Erik Benrud recently authored a chapter in the book "Historical Evolution of Dividends" The Blackwell Companion to Dividends and Dividend Policy.
May 29, 2009 - Kerry Anne McGeary Ph.D., assistant professor of economics at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, was recently named a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) in Cambridge, Mass. Dr. McGeary's fellowship is with the NBER's Program in Health Economics, and she is one of only five individuals named to that program this year.
Mar 26, 2009 - Drexel University's LeBow College of Business finance professor Jacqueline Garner, Ph.D., has been named president of the Eastern Finance Association. Garner's areas of expertise include investment banking; initial public offerings (IPOs) and corporate finance; and corporate governance. Recent research papers include "Electing Directors" in the Journal of Finance and "Unit IPOs: What the Warrant Characteristics Reveal about the Issuing Firm" in the Journal of Business.

Jan 20, 2009 - LeBow College of Business accounting professor David Campbell, Ph.D., is available to comment on the challenges and opportunities presented by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) roadmap for U.S. companies to adopt IFRS accounting standards. While the SEC is awaiting comments to its IFRS Roadmap Release due February 19, as well as the arrival of the new Obama Administration in January, Campbell can discuss why it is imperative for companies to consider steps they can take now toward IFRS implementation.
