04/10/08 - On April 10, 2008 Nicholas C. Barbi, Ph.D. and Alfred S. DeLucia, Partners, nSynergies, Inc. led an Entrepreneurial Skills Workshop. Attendees at this highly interactive workshop explored the process an entrepreneur might follow to convert an idea into a realistic business plan. New skills were explored to help transform invention into innovation through a methodology that starts with sorting out the task list to developing a time line, while taking into consideration cash flow considerations.

03/07/08 - This enlightening breakfast forum explored how first-time entrepreneurs could gain access to the right players in the entrepreneurial world ecosystem to move their ideas and companies forward. Panelists Mel Baiada, '82, '85, founder and principal, BaseCamp Ventures;
David Bookspan, founder and managing director, DreamIt Ventures; Blake Jennelle, CEO, Anthillz; RoseAnn Rosenthal, president and CEO, Ben Franklin Technology Partners/SEP; and Mark Schweiker, president and CEO, Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce discussed how to create a more inclusive system, better access to funding sources, service providers and advisors in tandem with increasing visibility and transparency of entrepreneurial companies.
