This lively and informative workshop will teach you everything you need to know about writing an effective press release, from attention grabbing headlines to lively body copy that will keep readers' eyes to the final period. Workshop Leader: Sue Spolan is an experienced project manager, freelance writer, editor, strategist and researcher for public and private sector media and marketing communications. She is Innovation and Jobs News Editor for Flying Kite, a weekly online publication covering the Delaware Valley. She writes, produces and directs National Public Radio's Fresh Air with Terry Gross. On the marketing side, Sue has developed communications strategies for a diverse roster of businesses, including top ten pharmaceuticals, arts organizations, construction firms, and a clothing manufacturer. Her writing has been published in books, newspapers and magazines.
