Feng-Ying Liu's (Finance, 1988) paper "Going-Private Restructuring and Earnings Expectations: A Test of the Release of Favorable Information for Target Firms and Industry Rivals," was awarded the Outstanding Paper in Corporate Finance by the Eastern Finance Association at its annual meeting of 2002. The paper is co-authored with Jeremy Goh, Michael Gombola, and De-Wai Chou.
Barrie Litzky (Organization & Strategy, 2002) published an article "Who's the Boss? Contending with Competing Expectations from Customers and Management" in the Academy of Management Executive (2002, Vol. 16, No. 4, pp. 85-95). The article was co-authored with Kim Eddleston and Deborah Kidder. Barrie has also been nominated for the 2003 Penn State Great Valley Teaching Award.
