Ph.D. Program

Thank you for choosing to explore the LeBow College Ph.D. Programs in Business and Economics. Please be advised that with the exception of three openings in the marketing department, we are NOT accepting applicants for admission in September 2012. We are undertaking a major construction project that is limiting the office space available for doctoral students. The next application deadline for disciplines other than marketing is January 15, 2013, for admission in September 2013.

Our mission is to prepare students to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in business disciplines through excellence in scholarship and research. This mission reflects our commitment to developing future intellectual leaders in their respective fields. We are very proud of the achievements of our students and we believe that their success is due to their intense desire to learn, a very talented faculty, and an innovative curriculum.

The Ph.D. Programs in Business offers specializations in accounting, decision sciences, finance, marketing, and organization and strategy. The Ph.D. program in Economics features three fields of study: Industrial Organization, International Economics and Open Economy Macroeconomics.

Our graduates have obtained faculty positions at a number of top universities such as: Michigan State University, George Washington University, North Carolina State University, University of Delaware, Villanova University, University of Vermont, University of Rhode Island, and Lehigh University.
