Drexel MBA at DuPont Admissions Procedure

The next cohort will begin the program the week of September 21, 2009.  The application deadline is August 29, 2009.

  1. Application for Admission
  2. Complete and sign the Application for Admission.
  3. Application Fee
    Each Application for Admission must be accompanied by a non-refundable, $100 U.S. check or money order made payable to Drexel University.
  4. Self-Assessment Essays
    Please type and attach responses to the following questions to your Application for Admission. a.
    1. Discuss personal goals, conditions, or career aspirations that motivate you to pursue an MBA at Drexel.
    2. What are your most important accomplishments?
    3. What do you expect to achieve by earning an MBA
  5. Current Resume
  6. Transcripts
    Request each of the colleges or universities you attended to forward official transcripts of your scholastic record to you. (Transcript request forms are provided.)
  7. Recommendations
    Forward two recommendations: one from your immediate supervisor and one from another individual qualified to comment on your ability to succeed in the Drexel MBA at DuPont program. (Recommendation forms are enclosed.) (please continue on back)
  8. Admission Examination: The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
    If you have already taken the GMAT, please request that the Educational Testing Service (ETS) send us your test scores directly. If you plan to take the GMAT in the near future you must contact the ETS to arrange a time and place for taking the test. Request your GMAT score be sent to our office by indicating a school code of "6GJ-QT-85." For more GMAT information, visit www.gmac.com.  Our office can also answer many other GMAT related questions that you may have.
  9. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Score
    Students whose native language is not English are required to take and submit a score from the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). The official score report needs to be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service to Drexel before an admissions decision can be made. Students who will earn a bachelor's degree from a United States institution before enrolling or have worked full-time in an English-speaking country for more than two years may have this requirement waived. TOEFL scores must be less than two years old to be considered. Information regarding the TOEFL and GMAT can be obtained by writing to the Educational Testing Service, Princeton, NJ 08541; calling 609-921-9000; or visiting www.ets.org.
