Drexel MBA at Dupont

An Innovative Model for MBA Education

The business world has changed dramatically in the last few years. In addition to field expertise, successful business leaders need to be able to predict change, be ahead of trends and embrace growth, be accountable to their constituents and stakeholders and have knowledge in global awareness.

At the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University, our MBA program is the choice of present and future business leaders. Our newly revised MBA curriculum is rigorous, student-centered and market-driven. The curriculum builds upon the well-recognized Drexel strengths of strong pedagogy with a technological focus. The curriculum emphasizes leadership, corporate governance and information technology and aligns the strengths of LeBow faculty and students with the business community. The curriculum relies heavily on the latest information technologies to provide instruction to students at any time and at any place in our global economy. At the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University, we are proud and excited to be in partnership with the DuPont Corporation, a pioneer and innovator in its own right. In return for your hard work and commitment to learning, we pledge to provide you a challenging educational experience that expands your skills and knowledge and helps you achieve your personal and professional goals.

Who Should Apply?
The Drexel MBA at DuPont program is offered to employees of the DuPont Company, as well as to other professionals in the Wilmington, Del., area. An undergraduate degree is required for admission. The degree can be in any field and does not need to be a business degree. This MBA program is intended to provide quality education to those who currently occupy or aspire to achieve advanced positions in management. The only difference between this program and others is the delivery and format. Once you graduate it will say Drexel University on your diploma; the location is there for your convenience (for people living and/or working in Delaware and the surrounding areas).

The Value of the Program to Those Who Enroll

  • Acquire new skills and knowledge that can be applied immediately to enhance performance and the productivity of your team, division, or organization.
  • Work in teams on various projects and assignments, promoting a group learning environment, while at the same time emphasizing the importance of individual accountability, presentation skills, and professional practices.
  • Learn concepts and tools to improve your communication skills.
  • Understand the technological forces that will help shape the success of corporations in increasingly competitive global markets.
  • Create more extensive professional and personal networks within and across their organizations, thus easing the flow of information about best practices and innovative solutions to problems that span functional units.
  • Our off-campus course format allows busy professionals to complete their work at nearly any time and in any location.
  • E-mail, chat rooms, streaming video, and online threaded discussions are part of the extensive communication between students and instructors. This course format requires a high level of motivation and self-discipline. Most students report more frequent and direct contact with other students and faculty than they have experienced in traditional classroom settings.
