Testimonials
“Most of us have not thought about algebra, geometry and theoretical
math for years. Luckily, this course focuses heavily on the math
sections of the GMAT. The teacher (Frank Allegra) was excellent. He
reviewed a massive amount of material while keeping the class engaged.
This course was critical in my preparation for the GMAT. ”
Tom Waltz, MBA Anywhere Program, Class of 2009
“I attended the GMAT Weekend Intensive Course a week before I took the
test. The course not only reinforced what I had been studying, but it
also introduced me to new strategies. I would highly recommend this
class to anyone who either hasn't started studying or who wants to learn
techniques that aren't found in most GMAT prep books.
”
Victoria Seidner, One-Year MBA Program, Class of 2009
“When I first considered pursuing my MBA, I reviewed the requirements to
apply and experienced a wave of panic regarding the GMAT. It had been
14 years since I graduated college, and I hadn't taken an aptitude test
since my SATs in high school. My first attempt at independent study
was filled with frustration and upset, and I knew I'd be in some trouble
when it came to this exam, especially the Math section. (When was the
last time I used the Pythagorean theorem or factored a trinomial?)
Frank Allegra's GMAT prep course was a lifesaver. He covers in six
classes what equates to years of pre-college Math and English, most of
which has been forgotten due to lack of use. Frank also manages to keep
the class entertained with his teaching style. I would definitely
recommend his prep class, especially if you've been out of school for a
while and need some freshening up on the basics. ”
Susan Schwartz, Professional MBA Program, Class of 2010
“ Anyone with a busy lifestyle who is concerned about having enough study
time should definitely invest in the classes. Taking the classes meant
spending at least three hours a week prepping for the GMAT test. My second
tactic: Schedule your test for the week after the last class so everything is still fresh. ”
Kevin Turcotte, One-Year MBA Program, Class of 2007
“ I just wanted to thank you for your help with prepping for the GMAT. I
did not take the test before the class, but I am sure that my score was
much better than it would have been had I not taken the class. I took
the test last Saturday and scored a 700 (39/88% Verbal, 47/81%
Quantitative, 700/92% total, 5.5/83% Analytical Writing). My one
suggestion for future students would be to manage their time on the
Quantitative Section. I was running out of time and had to guess on the
last five questions. I'm not sure I would do any better taking the test
again as I have a tendency to have to get the answer before moving on to
the next question. Another 10 minutes I think probably would
have helped tremendously! The verbal section I finished with about 30
minutes left.”
