Masters of Science (M.S.) Programs

Master of Science (M.S.) programs, unlike the MBA, provide a greater degree of focus on a given field. This focus may be an appropriate option for some students with specific career goals. Furthermore, those who intend to pursue a Ph.D. in business often prefer the concentrated M.S. degree to the more general MBA.

Currently, Drexel offers M.S. degrees in the following areas:

The Enterprise Management courses provide an introduction to the functional areas of business study, and this segment consists of two courses. The advanced coursework varies by M.S. program, and includes sixteen to eighteen courses consisting of common Core Courses, Specialization Courses, and related Electives.

Depending on undergraduate studies, some students may qualify for waivers of up to 4 courses in the M.S. program. More information about waivers is detailed in the Statement of Curriculum Standing* document.

Master's degree students work with the individual departments, along with the graduate office advisors, towards the completion of their M.S. degree.
