The Drexel Two-Year MBA

The Drexel Two-Year MBA at LeBow College of Business offers the most flexible full-time option for achieving your next personal and professional goals. Designed to provide students a comprehensive mastery of business knowledge in two years, this full-time program enables professionals seeking career advancement or a career change to study during weekday evenings and offers a wide range of specific concentrations.

And LeBow College offers more than just the traditional classroom experience. The College's Business of Ambition initiative provides MBA students with valuable co-curricular opportunities to exchange ideas with high-level executives; participate in business simulation competitions; and work with our career professionals in developing a personalized career plan.

During year one, the required sequence of courses will cover:

  • Strategic Management
  • Managerial Finance
  • Information Technology
  • Operations Management

During year two, the program integrates a flexible curriculum that enables students to focus on one of our 10 concentration offerings -- or the option to pursue a dual-degree that results in an M.S. in accounting or finance as well as an MBA.

In addition to the coursework, full-time MBA students demonstrate practical application of their learning in one of four ways:

  • Internship
  • Graduate Co-op Program (GCP)
  • Participation in Business Plan or Case Competition
  • Approved project from a company

Prospective students are encouraged to apply early to take greatest advantage of scholarships available for this program.

Concentrations

Drexel Two-Year MBA and Professional MBA students have the option of selecting from four areas of concentration — finance, marketing, entrepreneurship / innovation management, as well as a "personalized" concentration that allows students to tailor course selection based on career aspirations. (Note: The personalized concentration appears as a general management track on transcripts. Students are not able to "name" their concentration on their transcript). Each concentration offers a choice of tracks in general— or global-management.

Students opting for concentrations must select minimally two courses from the required column and maximum of two courses from the elective column below. Students could opt to take all four courses from the required column. The table below indicates the areas of concentrations and the recommendations for courses in each area.
