Business Learning Community : Requirements

1. Students must be full time and actively enrolled within Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business.
2. Students participating in the residential BLC must live in the residence hall where the residential BLC resides.
3. Students must maintain a GPA of at least a 2.5 in each academic term. If a 2.5 GPA is not maintained for the term, the student must attend a special academic enrichment workshop and show considerable improvement in the GPA for the next term.
4. Students are required to participate in at least one student organization on campus during the freshman year.
5. Students must enroll in at least two courses in the fall and winter terms with other BLC students.
6. Students must participate in the Creating Excellence Organizations (CEO) program and earn CEO certification by attending six CEO workshops during the freshman year.
7. Students must attend at least one academic enrichment workshop per term hosted by Drexel faculty, students and/or corporate professionals.
8. Students must meet with his or her undergraduate academic adviser in the fall term to develop an academic plan of study for the entire program.
9. Students must meet with the BLC program manager in at least the fall and spring terms to evaluate program and personal goals.
10. Students are required to enroll in a special topics business course (two credit mini-elective) during the spring term.
