MBA Degree Program

MBA International Residencies

As part of their MBA degree program, students have the opportunity to study the international dimensions of business decisions by studying and visiting foreign countries. Coursework in international business and on-site cultural immersion enhance students’ understanding of the global economy as well as opportunities and challenges facing companies around the world.

Prior to their one-week abroad portion of their international residency, MBA students participate in a required nine-week online course (INTB 790). Through this academic component, students study various aspects of the areas they will visit. Coursework consists of readings on the international setting of business and finance, case studies, class discussion, current and historical events of importance and group projects focused on the companies students will visit abroad.
