The below data represents the major findings from the University Senior Exit Survey conducted by the Drexel University Office of Institutional Research, Assessment and Effectiveness for the graduating class of 2016 (graduate March to June 2016) based on a 98.07% response rate (543 of 554 graduates).

Employment

  • 61.06% of those polled were employed at graduation
  • 81.67% were employed six months after graduation
  • 31% of graduates are employed by a former co-op employer
  • Respondents reported employment across 35 industries with top three including finance, accounting and marketing
  • $58,871 average starting salary
  • 95% of graduates with employment are working in the United States with top five states being Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and California
