Showcase presentation skills and get an opportunity to grow your network and connections in case competitions. Winners and participants get a great a resume addition that will set you apart from other freshman student applying to co-ops.
Case competitions are events where students analyze a real-business problem and present recommendations to a panel of judges. Those judges will be professionals from regional companies. The exposure might even help land your first co-op!
Freshmen get their first shot at making it big in the six-minute pitch competition. Groups in each section develop a product or service. They pitch the idea they believe will be a well-received by consumers. This culminates in a pitch of their ideas where they compete against their classmates.
The top teams from every section are invited to compete once again, in front of a group of young alumni, professors and international faculty via video conferencing in a Shark Tank-style competition. Can your team prove they have what it takes in just six minutes? Students get a taste for what it takes to bring an idea to reality.
