Welcome Week
Drexel invites all new undergraduate students onto campus one week prior to the start of classes for Welcome Week, which is Drexel’s version of orientation programming seen at other campuses. During Welcome Week students will have many events and activities to choose from that will help you learn the ins and outs of Drexel and the City of Philadelphia.
Welcome Week is an opportunity to welcome new students to campus filled with activities and programs to help new students meet each other, become integrated with the campus community and get acclimated to campus before classes begin. LeBow College Day: Tuesday, September 19
You’ll enjoy a day at Gerri C. LeBow Hall (GHALL) getting to know your advisors, peer leaders and new classmates.
Teambuilding and Getting-to-know Your Peer Leaders
All LeBow freshmen will meet their Peer Leaders and their University 101 team during this interactive and fun session that will build excitement for the coming year. Be sure to stay in touch with your section on the team Facebook group.
Getting to Know LeBow
Meet your academic advisor and learn tips for your first year regarding scheduling, advising services, online resources, etc.
Lunch and LeBow Carnival
Students will spend the afternoon getting to know each other and their professors in a building wide carnival. Activities will include poker, mini-golf, and other carnival style attractions spanning eleven floors of the building. This LeBow event is a fun way to learn about your surroundings and the people with whom you will share many classes!
Wednesday, September 20
Small-group advising sessions will be held for all LeBow students with their academic advisors.
