RECHARTING THE BORDERS: A Seminar Series - Leadership Approaches to Healthcare Strategy and Provider Alignment

Boost your resume and build your network by attending this student-run seminar series that brings together experts from across the full spectrum of the healthcare and corporate industries. Together, you will join in interactive discussions with three keynote speakers about emerging views on Obamacare, industry trends, and healthcare management reform.

Participating students have the invaluable opportunity to network with industry leaders and present at a final symposium on any business of healthcare topic of interest. Their work will be represented at the AMSA National Convention of 2014 in New Orleans.

February 19th, 4:30-6:00pm Christopher J. Haines D.O., FAAP, FACEP Chief Medical Officer at Children’s Specialized Hospital, former Director of the Department Pediatric Emergency at Tenet Healthcare/St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children Leadership Approaches to Healthcare Strategy and Provider Alignment This seminar will provide an opportunity to build the knowledge needed to understand healthcare strategy and provider alignment in the era of the Affordable Care Act. Participants will develop tools required to understand the approach toward transformational change in the health care arena.
