Al Altomari is the President and CEO of Agile Therapeutics, a NASD-listed bio-technology firm focused on the development and commercialization of prescription products for women’s health. Altomari a LeBow graduate has more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with focus on the development and marketing of specialty pharmaceutical products. Prior to his current appointment, Al served as the CEO of Barrier Therapeutics, where he completed the successful sale of the company to Stiefel Laboratories and had senior management positions at Johnson & Johnson, Ortho Neutrogena and Ortho McNeil Pharmaceuticals. He has served on the board of directors of several companies including Auxilium Inc, Dusa Pharmaceuticals and Nitric Bio Therapeutics. He was recognized by PharmaVoice magazine as one of the Top 100 Most Inspirational and Influential Leaders in the Life Sciences and he chairs the Pharmaceutical MBA Advisory Council at Drexel’s LeBow College of Business.
