Join Dr. George Tsetsekos, Dean Emeritus and Francis Professor of Finance, and Dr. Daniel Korschun, professor of Marketing at LeBow’s College of Business and expert on brand reputation management, for a Executive Business Briefing discussion on “Emerging trends in Corporate Political Activism”. Over the past few years, an increasing number of large corporations have challenged the view that politics and corporate strategy do not mix. Indeed, several companies have taken public positions on divisive political issues. Companies like Chick-fil-A, Apple, Hobby Lobby, and Salesforce.com have all stated that political activism is a natural manifestation of corporate core values. Dr. Korschun, a Research Fellow in the Center of Corporate Governance and the Institute of Strategic Leadership at Drexel’s LeBow College of Business, will share with audience recent findings from his ongoing research which reveals overlooked benefits, but also unexpected dangers for companies taking political stands on divisive political issues.

The event is free and lunch will be provided.
