An accomplished equestrian competitor, Andres Bisono brought both his horse and the drive to earn degrees in finance and engineering to Drexel.

A volunteer service that initially fulfilled a Civics 101 requirement has become a passion for Nicholas Surgent. His devotion to an after school program in Mantua is driven by a belief in helping the community.

Last week, LeBow welcomed 677 freshmen from 40 different countries to campus with a competition that featured social media, a healthy dose of friendly competition and a chance for a new breed of Drexel Dragons to mingle with some dinosaurs.

For the graduating seniors who will walk down the aisle this Saturday, Commencement is the culmination and celebration of four to five years of hard work and dedication and the beginning of the next chapter of their lives. They’ve worked hard and earned the accolades they will receive from friends and family. To mark the occasion, the Class of 2013 will present the first ever class gift to the College as a big thank you and a remembrance of this year’s graduating class.

There will be no more head scratching or wondering if LeBow’s concentrations are the same as majors found in other institutions. Effective immediately, LeBow College of Business has transitioned from using the term "concentrations” to “majors.”

Assistant Professor of Marketing Daniel Korschun, Ph.D., who was just honored with a top University teaching award, offers his students a "lifetime gurantee."

Many business schools across the globe use the business simulation tool MikesBikes, yet Drexel LeBow undergraduate students landed in two of the top eight spots in the 2012 MikesBikes World Championship. Weilei Yu, Aaron Hartmann, Summer Rose Horan and Daniel Pinto comprised the team SAPYU, which placed second in the competition. Jerome Lynch was the sole member of his team, Vanquish Cycles, which placed eighth.

Eleven undergraduate students who participated in ANGA Collegiate Energy Challenge during fall term claimed first prize. Utilizing a budget of $3,000, the students developed and implemented a campaign promoting natural gas to the Drexel community. Divided into teams for research, marketing and strategy implementation, the class worked as a unified agency and coined the slogan “Pennsylvania Natural Gas: Fuel Today. Sustain Tomorrow.” The class traveled to Washington, D.C. in December to present its plan to judges.

Drexel LeBow’s Business Learning Community (BLC), an exceptional group of 37 freshmen devoted to both leadership development and social responsibility, has more than a respite after finals to be thankful for this holiday season.
