LeBow Professor Discusses Healthcare Reform at CFO Alliance

January 24, 2011

Michael Howley, Ph.D., clinical associate professor of marketing at Drexel LeBow, was the keynote speaker at the CFO Alliance Breakfast Roundtable held earlier this month. Howley discussed “What Every CFO Needs to Know About Healthcare Reform” to a roomful of CFOs, who listened to the new regulations outlined by Howley, who spent the first half of his professional career in healthcare serving as a physician’s assistant, before moving into higher education.

Following the overview, participants met in breakout sessions where they discussed the new regulations and their impact on their businesses. Following the informal discussion, participants shared their ideas with the remainder of the group, and Howley fielded questions.

The CFO Alliance members are individuals who currently serve in management and executive-level accounting and finance positions in publicly-traded, privately-held and nonprofit companies located around the globe with communities including Philadelphia, New York City, and Boston.
