MikesBikes Simulation

Nothing teaches better that active participation. In your freshman year you will take part in an exciting competition called MikesBikes. The teams of students form to create companies that manufacture bicycles. Every decision, from what kind of bike to produce to marketing and financing decisions will need to be made. Your decisions and those made by the competition effect and market share and profitability over the simulated five-year span of the game. It uncovers areas for your development and brings the classroom learning to life.

Students share that this is one of their most memorable learning experiences at Drexel LeBow. Who will win? It’s up to your corporation to sell the most bikes and take the prize!

This opportunity is offered through BUSN 101 - Foundations of Business I, a course that introduces the fundamental structures and functions of business organizations and the opportunities for career advancement within such organizations. The course also develops relevant business skills for professional success, emphasizing teams, communication and real-world examples.
