EXCELerate Your Future: EXCEL I

Restricted to LeBow College of Business Undergraduate Students Only

EXCELerate Your Future is a Microsoft EXCEL training series that is sponsored by UGCS at Drexel’s LeBow College of Business to provide undergraduate students with the technical skills needed to succeed in their next co-op or full-time opportunity. With this series, students are able to improve spreadsheet skills and gain the confidence to handle big data tasks in the workplace. We currently have four sessions available: EXCEL I, EXCEL II, EXCEL III and EXCEL VBA. The sessions follow a progressive pace as students on build their EXCEL skills from one session to the next.

The “EXCEL I” workshop will introduce students to worksheet basics, formatting data, organizing data and creating charts.

-Navigating the EXCEL Ribbon -Basic Operations & Data Ranges -Absolute and Relative References -Formatting Data & Text -Grouping & Organizing Data -Filtering, Sorting & Subtotaling Data -Creating, Formatting & Editing Charts*

Students are encouraged to register early, as these sessions fill up quickly. If sessions are full, students can request to be added on to the wait-list. Note: The location details will be provided as we get closer to the date of the event.
