Drexel Students Are Learning the Diagrams for Success With Basic Training for Business

January 25, 2007

In today's business world, success requires more than mastering derivatives and management theories. That is why Drexel University's LeBow College of Business is providing its students with a new level of sophistication to distinguish themselves in a multitude of business environments with Basic Training for Business, a weekly workshop series covering topics from hemlines to haute cuisine, from January 31 to March 5, 2007 at Drexel University's Main Campus. All workshops begin at 5:00 p.m., with the exception of March 5.

We created Basic Training for Business to enable our students to augment their performance in the business world, said Dr. George P. Tsetsekos, dean of Drexel University's LeBow College of Business. Our students will gain a competitive advantage by improving their social and networking skills from industry leaders to swiftly adapt to any social situation.

Workshop leaders will discuss the do's and don'ts of business situations including dressing for success, grooming tips, developing a professional presence and business dining etiquette. Students who attend three of the workshops will be entered into a special drawing to put their skills to the test during an invitation-only, four-course meal.
