Drexel University and HBA Support the Advancement of Women Working in the Pharmaceutical Industry

Philadelphia HBA Affiliate and Drexel's LeBow College of Business Team Up to Offer Two Scholarships

Philadelphia, PA-The Greater Philadelphia Affiliate of the Healthcare Business Women's Association (GPHBA) has teamed up with Drexel University's LeBow College of Business to offer two $5,000 scholarships for Philadelphia HBA members accepted into the Drexel MBA in Pharmaceutical Management program.

"The partnership between Drexel's LeBow College of Business and the Greater Philadelphia HBA Affiliate is a natural match. HBA is dedicated to furthering the advancement of women in the healthcare industry. Having an MBA offers real career advantages for advancement," said Lee Ann Kimak, president, GPHBA. "We thank Drexel University's LeBow College of Business for partnering with us to further the careers of our membership."

LeBow College's MBA in Pharmaceutical Management program merges business strategy with science and technology to serve the needs of those who aspire to achieve advanced positions in management, policymaking or stakeholder relations. The program integrates online and classroom coursework and features a pioneering curriculum designed in collaboration with Drexel's College of Medicine and School of Public Health.

To receive one of these two scholarships, applicants must first apply and be accepted into the MBA program. They must also be members in good standing of the Greater Philadelphia HBA Affiliate.
