Dr. Thomas Chinan Chiang is a Marshall M. Austin Chair Professor at Drexel University. He joined the Department of Finance & Statistics in 1981 and was one of three founders of Finance Department in 1985. He has been a full professor since 1989 and served as the Director of the Ph.D. Programs, Bennett S. LeBow College of Business (1994-1997). His research interests include global financial contagion, international finance, international asset pricing, behavioral finance, and financial econometrics. D. Chiang has published extensively in a number of core finance journals, including the Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Quantitative Finance, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of Forecasting, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Journal of Financial Research, Financial Review, European Financial Management,Financial Research Letters, China Finance Finance Review International and Weltwirtschaftliches Archiv, among others. He is the co-author of two books: International Financial Markets (1991) and Sustainable Corporate Growth: A Model and Management Planning Tool (1989). Dr. Chiang received his Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University in 1981, majoring in financial economics and econometrics. He served as an Examiner for Academic Programs for Chinese University of Hong Kong (1999-2002) and on a number of international visiting Chairs, including The United Nations Academic Development Program, the National Chung-Hsing University, Feng-Chia University, Tunghai University, Fudan University, Shandong University and Zhongnan University. He is a co-editor of the International Journal of Business and Economics (2001-present) and has served as an associate editor of Journal of Risk and Financial Management, Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies, Multinational Finance Journal, Taipei Economic Inquiry, and Finance and Market. His teaching includes International Finance, Business Conditions & Forecasting, Financial Market and Institutions, Doctoral Seminar in Financial Markets, and Doctoral Seminar in Quantitative Finance. * *
