When to send a thank you letter
You should always send a thank you letter as soon as possible after the interview; within 24 hours is ideal.
Thank You Letter Template

[Opening line to thank them.] [Personalized statement regarding the interview and meeting them, the hiring manager, and/or the team.] [Sentence that builds on the discussions you had, and demonstrates your passion for the company and role.]
[Sentence about how excited you are to hear from them, which also sets you up to send a follow-up email later.] [Closing sentence thanking them again, and offers to provide further details if needed.]
