Frank Allegra, B.S., M.Ed., founder of University Test Preparation Services in 1978, has provided over 25,000 hours of tutoring in math, statistics, physics, and chemistry as well as test preparation for SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and MCAT. He conducts GMAT courses for Drexel University - main campus, Malvern, and Sacramento - and provides standardized test preparation for the University of Pennsylvania English Language Program. He has provided SAT preparation classes for Philadelphia Futures, for the College of General Studies High School Summer Program at the University of Pennsylvania, and for Simon Gratz High School. Previously Frank was a graduate student in Space Physics at M.I.T.; a draft counselor in NYC during the Vietnam War; a director of residence halls at Rutgers, New Brunswick and U. of Penn.; and editor of The Newsletter for Teachers & T.A.’s. He developed a GRE preparation course for Delaware County Community College and taught math at Camden County College. Happily married, he annually plans a trip to Europe with his wife and another couple. He lives in a University City Victorian house whose upkeep is his avocation.
