Save the Triangle Case Competition, Sponsored by LeBow's Global Learning Community

The Triangle is Drexel University’s student newspaper. On Jan. 25, the paper’s editorial staff announced that the organization no longer had the funds to continue printing the physical edition of the weekly publication. LeBow’s Global Learning Community will be hosting a case competition to help save the Triangle.

Objective Your team will analyze a business case dealing with the current state of The Triangle and present your solution to LeBow faculty, Triangle staff and leaders in the newspaper industry. This will provide valuable resume experience and exposure to LeBow faculty and industry professionals.

Key Dates Registration deadline: Friday, April 12th Competition: Friday, April 26th

Team Structure Teams of 3-4 Students - (you can create your own team or be placed on a team) Teams must be comprised of undergraduate students from any major or college.

Team Prizes 1st Place - LeBow Sweatshirts 2nd Place - LeBow Water bottles 3rd Place - LeBow notebooks

Registration and Requirements Due to the nature of the competition, participation is limited; not every application will be accepted into the competition.

To participate in the competition, each team member must submit this application before the deadline of April 5, 2019. Open to undergraduate students with a GPA of at least a 3.0 A willingness to gain practical learning experience Students can individually apply for the competition and be placed on an open team, or create a team comprised of three to four students (each student must enter team name on registration form to be on a team) To register, please complete the registration form.
