Session Descriptions

Mindfreak - an academic session for students Criss Angel has proven he can temporarily jump into someone’s psyche. However, wouldn’t YOU like to know what other people are thinking? With Professor Suri, discover the latest technology that can unearth people’s thoughts! Consumers, like us, sometimes find it hard to express ourselves in words so marketers learn to deep dive into minds to pull out what they need to know. Don’t miss this opportunity to witness the science behind modern tools that pry open people’s decision-making processes and ultimately unravel the mystery behind human behaviors.

Blockchain - for students interested in Business and Engineering (B&E) Professor Lee, an expert in optimization and risk modeling, will take a closer look at how new blockchain applications produce positive impacts on the food supply chain and ecosystem by examining supply chain efficiency, safety implications and traceability. This session is a comprehensive example of what Business and Engineering students are studying and applying to their experiential learning. Faculty and staff will also answer questions from the audience on the program.

Panel Session - for parents and guardians Hear from our panelists as they share details on how the structure of our first year experiences and curriculum give students the support needed to make transitioning from high school to college as smooth as possible. The panel will also share advice, resources, speak on co-op, and answer questions from the audience.
