Graduate EXCEL Series: Data Management

Restricted to Full-Time LeBow Graduate Students

The Graduate EXCEL Series is a Microsoft Excel training series that is offered to full-time graduate students in the MBA and MS Programs at the LeBow College of Business.

This interactive “Data Management” Excel training session will cover the following:

-Students will learn how to manage large sets of data to turn data into information -Filter and sort data to identify patterns and trends (AutoFilter and Advance Filters)

• Insert subtotals and control spreadsheets by using Data Validations -Calculate percentiles and quartiles, and learn how to use the “RANK” function -Use to MATCH function to confirm data and learn how to remove duplicates
• Learn the HLOOKUP and VLOOKUP functions to retrieve data instantly

Students should bring a laptop with Microsoft Excel installed (PC or Mac) as this room is not a computer lab

Students are encouraged to register early, as these sessions fill up quickly. If sessions are full, students can request to be added on to the wait-list. Note: The location details will be provided as we get closer to the date of the event.
