Join the CFA Society Philadelphia for a lively panel discussion on the use of alternative investments in portfolio construction. Panelists will offer their perspectives on the current state of alternative investment strategies.

Institutional investors and private wealth managers are struggling to meet historical returns through traditional investments such as equity and fixed income. As a result, investors have increased their allocations to alternatives.

The percentage of the allocations in a portfolio to alternatives has nearly tripled over the last 20 years and continues to be an area that clients are looking to diversify into in search of these return objectives. For example, the state of New Jersey has increased its alternative exposure from nearly zero ten years ago to over 30 percent today.

Registration Cost: University Students: Free of Charge Member Price: $25.00 Non-Member Price: $40.00

The panel discussion will be followed by refreshments and lite bites.
