Join us with our London study abroad partner, the Foundation for International Education (FIE), for their annual Student Global Leadership Conference (SGLC). The conference will be held virtually, and students will have the option to view the conference remotely from their home or on-campus with their peers. On-campus attendance will be limited, and students will be assigned to select classrooms to maintain social distance protocols.

This year’s conference is about Leadership for a Changing and Uncertain World. Students from around the globe, including three LeBow students, will be presenting. Let’s come together to support our fellow Dragons and learn more about the importance of sustainability, diversity & inclusivity, social justice, and human rights.

  • If you would like to participate in this conference remotely from your own home, please register here!

  • If you would like to register for this in-person experience, please register via the event “Sign up” button and follow the below instructions:

    • Complete the online Drexel Health Checker one to two hours (and no more than 24 hours) prior to your arrival. Based on your responses, you’ll be notified whether you are permitted to come to campus. If approved, print or screenshot your green check mark certificate and be prepared to show it to your host or other University staff.
    • Review The Dragon Pledge.
    • Report to Gerri C. LeBow Hall on the day of the conference to your assigned room. You will receive your room assignment as the event approaches.
    • Bring your DragonCard to verify your registration.
    • Wear a mask or face covering at all times.
    • Maintain six feet of distance.

Attend informative and engaging sessions on topics such as:

  • Empowering Women As Leaders: A Recipe for Success
  • What factors predict leadership emergence? What practical things can help me navigate the world of work as a woman in leadership?
  • Building a Culture of Adaptability At the Intersection of Transformational Leadership and Communities of Practice
  • What are the specific challenges educational leaders face in fostering a culture of adaptability in virtual work environments? How can educational leaders become effective transformational leaders in virtual work environments to better support their followers through change initiatives?
