Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business is hosting our Inaugural LeBow Inclusive Impact Day Case Competition. Teams of undergraduate student participants will act as management consultants and will be charged with determining the best course of action based on a provided scenario that enables opportunities for economic mobility for residents through activities that create jobs and support the creation and success of new business ventures. This case competition will focus on diversity, equity, access and inclusion, which crosses all disciplines and all types of corporations.

Watch the top three teams go head-to-head as they present their solutions to an industry-driven case.

Key Dates

  • Registration Deadline: Sunday, May 1, 2022, NOON EST
  • Kick-off Event: Monday, May 2, 2022, MIDNIGHT EST
  • Case Due Date: Sunday, May 8, 2022, MIDNIGHT EST
  • Finals Competition Date: Friday, May 13, 2022, 8:30 a.m.– 4 p.m. EST

Team Structure

  • Four students per team.
  • Each student on a team needs to register individually but all with the same team name on the LeBow events calendar. If you do not have a team yet, you may register individually and will be placed on a team.
  • Each team will have 7 days to review the case and pertinent information provided to formulate their response to the case questions.
  • Cases will be assessed by a panel of faculty, staff and alums on Monday May 9, 2022, and the top three teams will be notified of progression as finalist.
  • The top three finalist teams will develop a PowerPoint-based presentation for Finals Competition Day.
  • No changes may be made to teams’ PowerPoint presentations after 8:30 a.m. on Finals Competition Day.

Finals Competition Day

The top three teams will present at the Inaugural LeBow Inclusive Impact Day. Check-in will take place from 8:30 to 9 a.m. EST. The program will begin at 9 a.m. with a guest speaker who will provide vital information about the importance of university and small business relationships in the community.

Teams will be randomly assigned a 20-minute slot with our panel of judges to present their results. Awards will be presented as soon as the judges have reached a decision.
