DESCRIPTION: \n\nProfessor Louis has broad research and teaching interests 
 in financial\naccounting. His current research focuses primarily on earnin
 gs\nmanagement\, managerial financial reporting incentives\, merger and\na
 cquisitions\, market anomalies\, and corporate finance. He teaches\nInterm
 ediate Accounting\, Accounting and Business Analysis\, and\nFinancial Stat
 ement Analysis.\n\nProfessor Louis has published extensively in leading ac
 counting\,\nbusiness\, and finance journals such as Accounting Review\, Co
 ntemporary\nAccounting Research\, Financial Management\, Journal of Accoun
 ting and\nEconomics\, Journal of Business\, Journal of Finance\, Journal o
 f\nFinancial and Quantitative Analysis\, Journal of Financial Economics\,\
 nManagement Science\, Review of Accounting Studies\, and Real Estate\nEcon
 omics. He is a member of the editorial advisory and review boards\nof the 
 Accounting Review and the Contemporary Accounting Research\, and\nserves a
 s an ad hoc reviewer for all the major accounting and finance\njournals.\n
 \nProfessor Louis was an Organization of American States Graduate Fellow\n
 and a KPMG Doctoral Scholar. He also received the 2005 Excellence in\nAcco
 unting Research Award from the American Accounting Association\nDiversity 
 Section.\n\nProfessor Louis holds a Ph.D. in accounting from The Ohio Stat
 e\nUniversity. He also received a master’s degree in accounting and a\nP
 h.D. in finance from the University of Mississippi.\n
