DESCRIPTION: \n\nProfessor Jenkins joined the faculty at the University of 
 Kentucky in\n2012 and currently serves as the Executive Associate Dean of 
 the\nGatton College. She holds BS degrees in Accounting and Finance from\n
 Drexel University and a PhD in Accounting from the University of Iowa.\nPr
 ior to doctoral studies\, Professor Jenkins was an auditor at\nPriceWaterh
 ouse LLP where she concentrated on high tech and bio tech\ncompanies. She 
 currently consults with several accounting firms and\nserves as an expert 
 witness on financial reporting matters.\n\nProfessor Jenkins has published
  research in several leading accounting\njournals including The Accounting
  Review\, Journal of Accounting and\nEconomics\, Review of Accounting Stud
 ies\, and Auditing: A Journal of\nPractice & Theory. Her research focuses 
 on both financial accounting\nand auditing. Specifically she investigates 
 how the market respond to\nfinancial reporting failures—restatements. In
  addition\, she has\nresearched extensively on firm share repurchases. Pro
 fessor Jenkins\ncurrently teaches financial accounting to executive MBAs a
 nd a capital\nmarkets seminar to doctoral students. Professor Jenkins is a
  Certified\nPublic Accountant in the state of Maryland.\n
