 ,\nand international and cross-cultural management. Her work in the area\n
 of gender dynamics in engineering work groups was recently awarded a\nNati
 onal Science Foundation grant. Her research appears in the\,\nAdministrati
 ve Science Quarterly\, Academy of Management Review\,\nAcademy of Manageme
 nt Journal\, Journal of Applied Psychology\,\nOrganizational Behavior and 
 Human Decision Processes\, and Organization\nScience. Aparna’s work has 
 received the Academy of Management’s\nSaroj Parasuraman Award in 2010\, 
 the Dorothy Harlow Distinguished\nPaper Award in 2006 and 2008\, the Ulric
 h-Lake Award for Outstanding\nContribution to the Human Resource Managemen
 t Journal\, and the Academy\nof Management’s Best Dissertation Award (Ge
 nder and Diversity in\nOrganizations division) and has also been featured 
 in the Cincinnati\nEnquirer\, USA Today\, and the Times of India. Prior to
  joining Smeal\nshe was on the faculty of the University of Illinois\,\nCh
 ampaign-Urbana. She has served on the editorial boards of the\nAcademy of 
 Management Journal and Organizational Behavior and Human\nDecision Process
 es and is currently an Associate Editor for the\nAcademy of Management Jou
 rnal. She was awarded the 2014 Cummings Award\nfor Early to Mid-Career Sch
 olarly Achievement\, one of the highest\nprofessional honors in the field\
 , by the Organizational Behavior\nDivision of the Academy of Management.\n
