  he has presented his work at top finance and economics\nconferences such 
 as\, the American\, Western\, and European Finance\nAssociations and the A
 merican Economic Association Annual Meetings. He\nearned his PhD from the 
 William E. Simon Graduate School of Business\nat the University of Rochest
 er in June of 2013. While at the Simon\nSchool\, he taught two core MBA fi
 nance classes and was named to the\nSimon School Teaching Honor Roll. Matt
 hew graduated from Swarthmore\nCollege in 2005 with a degree in economics.
  Before beginning his\ndoctoral studies in 2008 he worked at a financial c
 onsulting company\,\nobtained an M.S. in Applied Statistics from Villanova
  University\, and\ncoached basketball at Swarthmore where he had been team
