DESCRIPTION: \n\nThe Center for Business Analytics will partner with Caesar
 s\nEntertainment to offer the 2019 Dragon Datathon for graduate students.\
 n\nWHAT IS THE DRAGON DATATHON?\n\nDrexel LeBow’s Dragon Datathon is a h
 igh energy\, one-day event that\nbrings together teams of graduate student
 s to turn data into\nactionable insight. During the event\, student teams 
 tackle analytics\nchallenges using open-source datasets.\n\nIn preparation
  for the datathon\, graduate students will form teams of\n5-7 members. For
  the duration of the event\, students are tasked with\nturning a business 
 problem into a series of statistical questions\,\ndesigning a technical ap
 proach\, and using data analysis and technology\nskills to develop solutio
 ns to solve the problem.\n\nAt the conclusion of the event\, teams present
  their insights to a\npanel of industry and faculty judges\, outlining the
 ir data-driven\ninsights related to the business problem\, the scope of th
 eir analysis\,\ntechnical challenges\, overall solutions\, implementation 
 plan\, and\nexpected impact.\n\nStudents use their own laptops and are pro
 vided access to a computer\nlab with software applications such as SAS\, R
 \, and Python. Dr.\nChuanren Liu\, Assistant Professor\, Decision Sciences
  and MIS\, will\nserve as the faculty advisor overseeing the challenge.\n\
 nMeals and refreshments will be provided to participants.\n\nPARTICIPANT E
 LIGIBILITY\n\nTo be eligible to participate\, team members must be current
 ly-enrolled\ngraduate students proficient in core techniques for business\
 nanalytics\, such as data mining\, text mining\, machine learning\, and\ns
 tatistical modeling. Individuals who signup here will be contacted\ncloser
  to the event to form teams.\n\nDATATHON CHALLENGE\n\nSummary and specific
