He was also\, between\n September 2014 and September 2016\, a senior economic research fellow\nin the Center for Economic Analysis at the Public Company Accounting\nOversig ht Board (PCAOB).\n\nAobdia’s research interests span empirical accounti ng and economics.\nHis primary focus is using auditing as a setting to ans wer broad\neconomic questions\, such as the impact of regulation\, the rol e of\ninformation spillovers\, and the influence of labor and non-labor\ni nputs in organizations\, including the role of high-skilled\nimmigration\, culture and tools. Another focus is studying the effects\nof disclosure o n the functioning of capital and product markets.\n\nEarlier in his career \, Aobdia worked in the investment banking\ndivision at Morgan Stanley in Los Angeles and at a boutique strategy\nconsulting firm\, Mars and Company \, in Tokyo\, Japan.
